My point is Aer Lingus know the exact passenger numbers and should be able to cater for everyone.We were sat at the rear of the plane,they start the dinner service at the front of the plane and work towards the rear,so you are lucky to be fed.There were about 20 of us that ended up with the dregs of the food service.These flights weren't cheap either.So Aer Lingus have now gone down in my estimation.I will not be sitting at rear of plane again,if this is the service you can expect.The flight crew didn't seem bothered in the slightest at the poor service they were providing,very poor customer service.Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the global gateway to the most visited destination in the country. The flight back from San Francisco to Dublin was awful,the seats are so uncomfortable.On the dinner service they ran out of a choice of meals so had to eat what you were given.Then on the breakfast service,they again ran out of food.They then gave my wife and i a burrito,which one bite was awful and quickly ended up in the rubbish,totally inedible. We last flew with Aer Lingus twice in 2018,from Manchester-Dublin-San Francisco,We have family out there,these flights were good and no problems.This time we flew the same route,we flew out and started flying back Saturday arriving back. PS: they handed out a £5 'food' voucher - which had to be spent at the airport today- 10 mins before boarding and nearest shop was at least a 20 min walk. I'll walk before I use that airline again. Total scammers, morally and ethically bankrupt. used the plane on another route.flight left 3hr 10 mins late but the pilot was in the air 12 min less than normal and therefore no compensation. Update : flight delayed for "operational," reasons i.e. The worse is they charged me £110 single for a short flight and can't claim compensation as they're inside the 3 h threshold. No one to talk to, all plans ruined and probably need to take day off work due to long flight delay and missed connections. Sitting in Glasgow airport for 5 hrs waiting on EI3227 arriving. Flights never on time, no customer service or passenger communication and difficult to claim compensation. One of the worst airlines in western Europe having experience d most. Clearly they didn't have a clue and simply did not want to deal with customers, if only they talked to customers about problems and solutions throughout they would not have 200 people yelling at then Now I know thungs can go wrong but my complaint was how this whole thing was managed. 8pm offered new flight and overmight accomodation. Eventually member of Manchester Airport staff got fed up of all the complaints and managed to get someone from aerlingus to come and speak to everyone. Tried to call call centre but all customers constantly hung up on whenever talked to staff about cancelled flight. went through border control and got luggage then nothing. Lots of crying children told not going to Disney, but held on plane for a full hour. Advised would need to get off and go through boarder control before collecting bags. Boarded but then advised fault on plane so flight now cancelled. ![]() ![]() No info given but 2.40 advised would be boarding at 3. Flight due at 11 at 11.10 advised would be a slight delay.
